1. Who we are

GetBacking ("we") provides campaign planning, writing and management services for reward-based crowdfunding campaigns. These terms cover your use of getbacking.com. Campaign work is governed by the separate fee agreement you sign, which wins if the two conflict.

2. Free audits

A pre-launch audit is free and creates no obligation on either side. It is an opinion based on the numbers you give us, not a promise that a campaign will fund.

3. Fees

Our fee is 10% of funds raised, measured on the net amount actually collected, with a $2,500 minimum, charged only if the campaign reaches its goal. We also charge 10% of late pledge and pledge manager add-on revenue for 90 days after the campaign closes. Ad spend is paid by you into your own ad account, at cost, with no markup. Invoices are issued on day 1 after close and are due on day 30. Unpaid balances carry a late fee of 1.5% a month.

4. The gate

We launch only when projected launch-week pledges reach 30% of the goal, and a campaign reviewer signs off that decision. If the gate is not met within 8 weeks of ads, either side may end the agreement and you owe us nothing.

5. Your responsibilities

You confirm that you hold the rights to your project and its content, that your product has a working prototype, that you make no health or safety claims, and that delivery dates and costs you give us are honest. You stay the campaign owner on the platform and are responsible to your backers.

6. Our responsibilities

We do the agreed work with care, have every software draft checked by a person before it is used, and never hide shipping or delivery risk from backers.

7. Cancellation

You may cancel before launch at any time with nothing owed. After launch, the fee applies only if the campaign funds.

8. Liability

We are not liable for platform decisions, backer behaviour, manufacturing or shipping problems. Our total liability is limited to the fees you paid us in the 12 months before a claim.
